About Us

hello world!

Love, creativity, and growth.
About us

Our Story

The idea of our nursery was born from the heart of a mother who discovered in the world of childhood an endless space for love, creativity, and growth. She believed that thoughtful and conscious upbringing is the first seed in shaping a child’s character and building their future.

Having experienced motherhood with all the love, learning, and responsibility it brings, she wished to share with the children of her beloved country the valuable lessons and beautiful experiences she had gained while raising her own children.

This vision inspired her to create a safe, caring, and loving environment that embraces children, develops their abilities, plants the first seeds of faith in their hearts, and encourages them to take pride in their Arab and Islamic identity.

Why Qurrat Aayoun Nursery?

We chose the name “Qurrat Aayoun” for our nursery, inspired by the prayer of the Servants of the Most Merciful, which Allah Almighty has preserved in the Holy Qur’an:
“Our Lord, grant us from among our spouses and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous.” Surah Al-Furqan, Verse 74

Inspired by this noble Qur’anic meaning, the name of our nursery reflects the precious place children hold in our hearts. It also reminds us of the great trust and responsibility involved in caring for and raising them.

We pray that Allah makes every child a source of joy and comfort to their parents, and that they grow to become righteous individuals who positively contribute to their community and country.

  9. 9.

    Independence and Responsibility

We encourage children to become more independent, take initiative, and accept age-appropriate responsibilities.
  10. 10.

    Continuous Observation and Development

We regularly monitor children’s progress and continuously develop our programmes and practices according to their needs and recognised educational best practices.

Our Educational Curriculum

Our curriculum focuses on developing each child’s personality in a balanced and holistic way by instilling the foundations of faith and Islamic values from the earliest years.

This is achieved by helping children memorise selected chapters from the Holy Qur’an, strengthening their Arabic-language skills, and teaching Islamic manners, morals, and etiquette. This supports the development of their Islamic and linguistic identity and strengthens their sense of belonging to their faith and culture.

Alongside this, we follow the British Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, known as the EYFS, using play-based learning, practical experiences, exploration, and discovery.

This integrated educational approach aims to support the child’s balanced development across all areas, including faith, language, social development, emotional wellbeing, intellectual abilities, and physical growth, within a safe and stimulating learning environment.

The nursery also gives particular attention to the individual differences between children, including their abilities, interests, needs, and preferred learning styles.

Each child receives appropriate support and guidance according to their individual level and pace of progress, helping to strengthen their confidence and motivation to learn.

Our Approach to Positive Behaviour

The nursery guides children’s behaviour through positive educational methods that are appropriate for their age and stage of development. These methods include:
  • Providing calm and clear guidance.
  • Reinforcing positive behaviour.
  • Teaching children to express their emotions appropriately.
  • Encouraging sharing, patience, turn-taking, and cooperation.
  • Helping children understand the consequences of their actions.
  • Teaching children to resolve disagreements peacefully.
